I have a huge list of Marilyn Monroe quotes in my phone…such a genius. Reading her quotes always reminds me that I am worth it…someone will love me for exactly who I am one day…and in the mean time, just keep being fabulous.
This quote sums up so much of the past 21 years of my life. People are going to talk, no matter if they actually want to get to know you or not. Some people just don’t care. They use you to get what they want, then dump you on the side of the road when they realize you’ve figured out what their motives are. People like that don’t want to actually get to know you, they just pretend to be nice to you to get what they want.
I’d rather have a handful of really good friends that I know everything about than hundreds “friends” who I really know nothing about.
To the people I’m talking about, you don’t know me. For the past 2 years you didn’t, for even a second, want to get to know me. I’m done with people who don’t care about me.
